The Shape of Water
This design study uses mathematics to sculpt curves that resemble water droplets. The shape can be designed by placing points to attract and repel the curve. The curve is a slice of a terrain created with peaks and troughs, which is cut at a certain height. Positive points create peaks, negative points creates troughs. The curve can be sculpted by adding or removing points, and modify the parameters such as fallout or strength, to modulate the curve.
